Some of the grant proposals that
I developed and were funded, include the following:
- Proposal entitled "Integrating Learning Technologies into K-12 and Post-Secondary
Classrooms." Submitted to Microsoft Corporation in July 1998.
- Preview/Training Center Software Grant from Sunburst Communications, Inc. Under the
grant, the College of Education at Florida International University can purchase software
packages developed by Sunburst Communications at a discount of 85% off the list price. The
grant also allows the College to install the purchased software on multiple machines
(January 1998).
- Technology Infusion Grant ($1,000.00) from the College of Education at Rowan University,
in Glassboro, New Jersey (May 1997).
- Grant from the "Terrific Science Program" ($2,000.00) to initiate partnership
activities under the auspices of the STEP Center (June 1994).
- Technology Infusion Grant ($1,500.00) from Indiana University - Purdue University Fort
Wayne (IPFW), in Fort Wayne, Indiana (AY 1993).
- Travel Grant ($1,500.00) from Indiana University - Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW),
in Fort Wayne, Indiana (Summer 1993) to attend a Summer Grant Writing Fellowship workshop
in Bloomington, Indiana.
- Summer Grant Writing Fellowship ($5,000.00) from Indiana University, in Bloomington,
Indiana.
- Developed a proposal that was funded by Allied-Signal ($20,000.00) for creating mobile
multimedia stations in four schools in the Phoenix Metropolitan area (1992).
- Grant from the AOW/DHW foundation for expenses related to organizing a "Science,
Technology and Society in the Classroom, School and Community Conference," under the
auspices of the "Urban, Minority, Middle School STS Teacher/Community Enhancement
Project" (February 22, 1992).
