What is the FIU Tourism Club?

 The FIU Tourism Club is a student-run organization from the School of Hospitality Management, headquartered at the Biscayne Bay Campus of Florida International University, in North Miami. The club’s members are students of excellence seeking work/internship experience within the tourism industry.
As valued members of the Tourism Club, we strive to better ourselves while creating a powerful reputation within the local academic and business community.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to develop within the School of Hospitality Management (SHM) awareness of the values of tourism as a vehicle to appreciate various destinations and cultures by providing a wide array of services that will positively impact our FIU community. 

Our Vision:

Our vision is to promote the importance of the tourism activity to the students, faculty and staff of Florida International University.  We will support local sustainable tourism and career development by helping to prepare highly qualified professionals from SHM.  We will encourage club members to expand their ideas/ventures and assist them in attaining dynamic, high-growth success through participation in on-campus events and volunteer initiatives in the community.
