Benefits of Upward Bound

• Grades will definitely improve if the student actively participates in the program.
• Students are exposed to a wide spectrum of academic and activities.
• The summer program allows students to experience college life, creating a bridge between high school and college. Students will receive an elective academic credit for successful completion of courses.
• Bridge Students receive assistance and support with financial aid applications; college preparation, application and admission processes.
• Seniors also have an opportunity to earn three (3) to seven (7) college credits from Florida International University or Miami Dade Community College, after graduation.
