Carlos Valdez, a chemist at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California, was invited to share career advice and life experience during Panther Alumni Week. Dr. Valdez is an FIU Alumni (B.S. in Chemistry, 2000) and former Wnuk research group member (Detail in FIU News).
Visiting scholars Justyna Nagaj and Kamila Stokowa-Soltys from University of Wroclaw, Poland, were awarded a three-month internship program supported by the European Union to conduct research with the Wnuk research group. (For more information click here).
