Incomplete Grade Policy: IN grade is given to a student only under the condition that the student has substantially completed (with a passing grade) most of the course but is unable to complete the course because of circumstances beyond his/her control. An incomplete grade must be made up within two semesters. Every incomplete grade must be approved by the Math Department.

DR grade: The deadline to drop the course with a DR grade is March 19, Monday. To drop the course, you need to do it yourself before the deadline. If you simply stop coming to class, you will receive an F grade.

Academic Misconduct: Any attempt of cheating on a test or a quiz will result in an F and further administrative action might be taken. A more complete definition of Academic Misconduct is given in the Student Handbook.  Penalties for Academic Misconduct range from an F in the course to expulsion from the University.

Classroom Etiquette:  Please avoid coming in late or leaving class early as such behavior is disruptive and hence inappropriate. If you miss an entire class, get notes and homework assignments from a classmate.

Tutoring: The Mathematics Department and the University offers a variety of services, ranging from online videos to free tutoring, designed to help students with their courses. Please visit http://casgroup.fiu.edu/MathStatistics/pages.php?id=1168 for more details.
